Catfish Noodling in a nut shell involves the art of catching catfish with your bare hands. To Simply put it catfish noodling is where you dive into the water and actually stick your hand under a rock or stump or in a hole and actually noodle for the catfish. You are actually trying to get the catfish to bit your hand.
Personally catfish noodling is crazy to me. I mean you don't know what is down there under that hole or rock!!! Could be a poisenous snake or even a giant snapping turtle. To be sure when catfish noodlers are noodling for catfish sometimes they get unexpected surprises, but you wont find any of those unglamorized videos on youtube. All you will find are the glorious catches of huge catfish being noodled out of there hole.
Sure catfish noodling seems cool and all but obviously catfish noodling has it's down falls. On top of the obvious downfalls of catfish noodling you have to know where to go to noodle for the catfish to begin with.
To be Successful at Catfish noodling takes allot of practice Im sure of and a whole lot of luck to. The youtube videos of catfish noodling make it look real easy, but there not showing all the rocks and holes and stumps the catfish noodlers had to look under before they found that monster catfish, and there sure not showing the catfish noodlers who got very unpleasant surprises catfish noodling.
